At Richard Transports, logistics (the research and planning of transportation operations) is our business.

Over the years, we have evolved into a multi-service provider to the fast growing logistics industry. Specialized heavy hauling is one of the most demanding aspects of trucking, in turn, our logistics must consider some of the most difficult types of transport challenges in the industry today. Our dynamic team takes into account all the factors involved in the transportation of your goods by our trucks, or draw from out list of preferred subcontractors, with the goal of maximizing productivity and efficiency. With our ability to call on our subcontractors, no job is to large. We have done a number of large projects with the help of our subcontractors when our company trucks are tied up on other work or the job is larger than what we have trucks available for. In these cases we still maintain control of all the transportation requirements by have one of our supervisors oversea the project. Our process includes planning the most efficient routes for truck drivers, looking for ways to improve efficiency through the reduction of delivery times, choosing the best kind of trucks and trailers for the particular job, and hiring the best drivers to complete the job correctly, on time and at a fair price.

At Richards Transport, we emphasize road safety to ensure the secure transportation of goods and the safety of both truck drivers and regular commuters by planning delivery routes for specific types of loads.
