Richards Transport Is Proud to Partner With Cameco Corporation

After 60 years of trucking across North America, the Richards Transport team continues to seek-out projects that motivate, excite and challenge us, by testing the limits of innovation in the transportation sector each and every day.

While the innovative projects we have been involved in are numerous, one recent project is worth a closer look.

The Richards Transport team recently completed a large, comprehensive project, moving six large electrical modules for Cameco Corporation from within the city limits of Winnipeg, to Northern Saskatchewan, where the mine site is located. These mod’s were 200,000 pounds each, and over 100’ long, giving us an over length of 250’, including a push truck. This was no small task.

Given the logistical considerations, as well as the size and weight of these loads, the job had to be planned down to the finest details. We are proud that the job was completed successfully, and look forward to working with Cameco Corporation on even bigger jobs moving forward.
