On the road for over 50 years!
Lorne Richards grew up on a farm near Orkney Saskatchewan in the heart of the Canadian grain belt. He was a farmer by birth, but trucking was in his veins at an early age. Lorne would often tell of how as a young boy he was fascinated by the big rigs, and would watch captivated, as they would roll by their prairie farm. By the time Lorne was 18, trucking was in his blood and with money he had saved from working on the family farm, Lorne bought his first truck. A 1957 single axel Ford was the seed for what would become one of the largest privately owned trucking companies in Saskatchewan. That was 1957.
